"It is about the bike." I am fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful areas in the country for biking. Our winding trails around lakes and hilly countrysides are the dreams of every cyclist. We have rails to trails throughout our region, and we can ride along the Sleeping Bear Dunes Lakeshore, voted the most beautiful place in America.
I have been an avid cyclist for many years, having started out with a basic cruiser. Realizing that a had the "need for speed," I graduated to the Specialized Ruby and love every minute on my white and red bike. You can find me on the Michigan terrain, usually, 7 days a week when weather cooperates.
I faux ride in winter in spinning class, but we visualize our local trails as we watch our cardio rates rise to steady state paces.
I attain inner peace and awakening on my rides around Little or Big Glen Lake, the Boardman River Trail or the Leelanau Tart Trail, northwestern Michigan's gifts. You are welcome to join me!
