Integrity defines character... My friends describe me as feminine and elegant with a great laugh. I would say I'm a mixture of smart, ditzy, organized, focused, loving and empathetic. I am financially independent, love to travel, entertain, take romantic cycling trips, taste French wine, and love independent films and great art. I had a horse farm in Virginia for 22 years and love horses, retrievers, flowers, serious cycling, and can mow 50 acres on a tractor. I've just finished construction on a condo in Palm Beach and moved in. I have 2 gorgeous and brilliant daughters who are married and successful. Family is very important. I had an interior design firm for most of my career, but have been a professional writer and editor for the last 9 years. I have served on several boards and will continue a few.

I take very good care of my man, am affectionate, and know when to give him space.

My perfect mate is a gentleman, can communicate thoughtfully, is well spoken and educated. He makes me laugh, a lot. If divorced, he left his wife with kindness and security. If widowed, he treated her like a queen. As I do, he believes integrity defines character. He is fit and healthy. I like high heels, so he's most likely 6 feet. Grey hair turns my head.
